In my opinion: they are just raping the gullible tentacles, and not vice versa. Boring passive-aggressive hentai princesses with squeaky voices who are trying to force you into the role of a villain (in order to blame for all sins later). The internet is full of content you ask about (also you can find similar in steam).īlah blah blah. Repetition will only make it even more UNinteresting. Are we going to see something new with the full games release or more of the same because of the limitations the studio has from the community and politics surrounding the game's development in the states? What is Subverse, and will the community support Subverse if it isn't consensual content? Pretty sure alot or most of the people viewing Subverse are afraid of the R word even tho the main waifu of the ground combat and ship navigator would love/ not mind having trains run over them because that's just the type of characters they are setup to be. Idk how far StudioFOW will take the sex of subverse or is allowed to in the US. Do people really only want the sexual scene or content of this game to be only in the Bedroom and not anywhere else in the game? Because there's opportunity for it to be in ground combat, and even space combat as a cut scene or waifu gain reward for victory/death. Even tho that would be a first for StudioFOW's content to be both wholesome and consensual. ![]() Studio FOW crowdfunded Subverse back in May 2019, with the title set for release in 2021.So far from the steam community it seems they want a wholesome and consensual approach to Subverse content. ![]() In a statement shared on Twitter earlier this year, Wargaming said: "We were specifically warned by Games Workshop not to work with this influencer, and agreed to it." Games Workshop made him remove the word 'Warhammer' from his handle, and also pushed Wargaming to end its partnership with the streamer. Over the past few years, Arch - a Warhammer 40k YouTuber - has been increasingly controversial due to some of views he expressed online. Subverse has no political affiliation, it's a game to be enjoyed by everyone." We appreciate his time and want to say we are sorry for jumping into a politically charged situation so quickly. "We simply wanted him to showcase some of our gameplay together, which Arch did professionally and he was very gracious with his time. ![]() "We would like to make it absolutely clear, we have no problems with Arch personally," the now deleted message read. One of the studio's community managers initially argued that the team was "not aware" that Arch had allegedly made racist statements in the past, adding: "We did not look into his background as much as we could have, and we know now this was a mistake."īut that message was then deleted, and another appeared, contradicting the previous statement and showing support to Arch. However, the studio's response on Discord was of different nature. ![]() "We've decided to leave this thread up but we will be automatically removing any future content made by this YouTuber to our subreddit," the statement said. Studio FOW responded, acknowledging some "misfires" on its end. The reveal video was initially posted on Reddit, and immediately received a lot of criticism. Studio FOW is currently facing controversy for partnering with YouTuber Arch (previously known as Arch Warhammer).Īs reported by PC Gamer, the gameplay reveal of the developer's upcoming game, science-fiction sex game Subverse, was given to Arch as an exclusive, which caused a backlash from the wider games community.
